Lowes Foods is by far the most vegan friendly main stream grocery store we have encountered in Charlotte, NC. There are very few items a vegan would want that cannot be found here. It is for this reason that we have decided to have a full page dedicated to them. The following is a list of the types of items available. This list is by no means a complete account of all of their vegan products. They have too many to list here. Please if you have not shopped with them give them a try. They are absolutely our favorite!
Health Care: Vegan Shampoo, Conditioner, Mouse, Lotions, Toothpaste
Dairy Case: Vegan Sour Cream, Butter, Faux Lunch Meats, Hot Dogs, Soy Milk
Frozen Foods: Amy's, Boca, Health is Wealth
Shelf Organics: Full Circle and most types of food can be purchased organic whether it's dried beans, canned veggies, or pastas.
Fresh Organics: Not as large a selection as some of the health food stores but they do have some variety available.

Some of the items they do not carry you may need to get at one of our local health food stores. Items such as: Braggs, Nutritional Yeast, Vegenaise, TVP, & Soy Ice Cream.
